UMMSS International: Internship Application Night

We understand that internship application is a daunting process for final year medical students, even more so when you are a priority 2 for internship spots in Victoria. Therefore, this requires some strategic planning and preparing from CVs to cover letters and interviews as well as preferencing health services to optimise your chance of getting an internship spot. This session is designed to shine a light on the application process as well as provide advice on how to prepare a strong CV and cover letters. Furthermore, speaker(s) will provide useful tips to excel in interviews as well as reassurance and support to navigate this challenging period.

We will be joined by a panel of alumni International Students from the University of Melbourne who have now become medical interns at various health services. They have kindly offered their valuable time to share their insights, tips and what they have learned from their application process, and to hopefully answer all your questions related to CV, cover letter and interviews.

NB: The event is targeted to final year University of Melbourne International Medical Students. However, all Australian-based Medical Students (local and International) are welcomed, including those from other universities. Zoom link to be posted closer to event date. There will be a lucky draw for the corresponding attendees (only open to The University of Melbourne International Medical students).
